No! RedeemForge is completely free to start. The Free plan includes 1 overlay with basic features. Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business) unlock more overlays, premium assets, and advanced features. You only pay if you want to upgrade.

Sign up with Twitch, connect your channel, create an overlay, add a redeem, and you're done! The whole process takes about 30 minutes. Check out our Getting Started guide for step-by-step instructions.

Yes. RedeemForge creates an overlay URL that you add to OBS or Streamlabs as a Browser Source. This is where the animations appear on stream. Once added, everything works automatically!

Free plan: 1 overlay. Starter (3), Pro (10), Business (50). Each overlay can have different animations and positioning. You can use them all at once or switch between scenes.

An overlay is a layer on your stream (like a canvas). A redeem is an interactive element in that overlay that triggers an animation when a viewer spends channel points.

Yes! You can adjust color, speed, duration, size, opacity, rotation, and position for each animation. Use the Layout Editor to fine-tune everything.

Click the pencil icon on your overlay to enter the Layout Editor. Drag animations to position them, resize them, rotate them, adjust opacity, and set z-index (layering). Click "Save Layout" when done.

Yes! The Layout Editor has a "Test" button. Click it to see the animation preview. We also show thumbnails in the Asset Library.

The redeem is removed from your overlay in RedeemForge, but the Twitch custom reward still exists on your channel. You must manually delete it from Twitch if you don't want viewers to use it.

Yes! You can use any asset in unlimited redeems. Mix and match animations to create different effects.

We curate high-quality animations from real artists. No AI-generated art. Browse the Asset Library to see all available animations, effects, and overlays.

Not yet. We're building a custom animation upload feature. For now, use animations from our Asset Library.

Animations are hosted as WebGL, Canvas, or video elements. You don't upload files—you select from our pre-made library.

All our assets are properly licensed. Credit information is available on each asset. Check individual asset licenses for requirements.

Some assets are inactive (archived or retired). We keep them in the database for reference but don't recommend them for new redeems. Fresh assets are added regularly!

Find it on the My Overlays page. It looks like: https://redeemforge.gg/overlay/[your-overlay-id]. Paste this into OBS/Streamlabs as a Browser Source.

We recommend 1920x1080 (1080p). This works with most streaming setups. You can also use 1280x720 (720p) or custom sizes.

RedeemForge is designed for Twitch. We're exploring Kick support in the future. For now, you can manually create similar effects on Kick.

Yes! Pro and Business plans include API access. You can automate overlay creation, trigger redeems, and more. API docs coming soon.

Not yet. Overlays are hosted by RedeemForge. Self-hosting is on the roadmap for enterprise customers.

Check: (1) Twitch is connected, (2) Overlay URL is in OBS, (3) Redeem is active on Twitch, (4) Viewer has enough points. Email support@redeemforge.gg if issues persist.

No. Overlays are rendered client-side in your OBS browser source. They don't affect your stream quality or CPU usage.

Yes! Each redemption creates a new animation instance. You can have unlimited simultaneous animations.

Overlays still work when you're offline (in case of VOD streams or replays). They'll keep responding to redeems.

No. Animations are hidden until a viewer redeems the custom reward. Then the animation plays.

Subscriptions are recurring. You can cancel anytime and your subscription ends at the next billing date. Refunds for partial months are not available.

Yes. Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. All your data will be permanently deleted. (Payment history is retained for 7 years for tax compliance.)

Go to Settings → Integrations → Disconnect Twitch. You can reconnect anytime. Note: Custom rewards on Twitch won't be deleted.

Each Twitch account gets one RedeemForge account. If you have multiple Twitch channels, create separate RedeemForge accounts for each.

Yes. We use industry-standard security: HTTPS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, Row-Level Security on databases, and regular security audits.

Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Download My Data. This feature is coming soon. You can also request a data export via privacy@redeemforge.gg.

Yes! Creative overlays can be featured in our Community Showcase (with your permission). This gives exposure to your channel!
